as host city of CMWC 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-neve-text-color-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">In the context of the CMWC 2022 in New York, Zurich was awarded the contract to host this most important event of the courier industry in the summer of 2024.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover alignfull\" style=\"min-height:600px;aspect-ratio:unset;\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-cover__background has-nv-site-bg-background-color has-background-dim-100 has-background-dim\"><\/span><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-cover-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div style=\"height:20px\" World Championships once before in 1999. At that time, more than 700 messengers from all over the world gathered in our city for a week-long racing and cultural program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CMWC 2024 in Zurich is supported by numerous associations, companies and individuals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-top is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p class=\"has-nv-dark-bg-color has-text-color\">In order to win the bid to host the event, the organizing association was able to rely on a letter of recommendation from the Zurich city government, among others.
