Zurich as host city of CMWC 2024
In the context of the CMWC 2022 in New York, Zurich was awarded the contract to host this most important event of the courier industry in the summer of 2024.
Zurich hosted the Cycle Messenger World Championships once before in 1999. At that time, more than 700 messengers from all over the world gathered in our city for a week-long racing and cultural program.
The CMWC 2024 in Zurich is supported by numerous associations, companies and individuals.
In order to win the bid to host the event, the organizing association was able to rely on a letter of recommendation from the Zurich city government, among others. This broad support ensures that the CMWC 2024 in Zurich will not only be a festival for cycling enthusiasts, but for the entire population.
